This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Gilberto Marrero who was born in New York on November 07, 1949 and passed away on February 17, 2008 at the age of 58. We will remember him forever. Anyone who has crossed paths with Mr. Marrero knows of his wonderful, charismatic, charming, and caring personality. Gil can make anyone laugh, even in the worst of times. His smile lights up the room, and our hearts. Gilberto was the best dad, a wonderful husband, and a great son, grandpa, brother, friend, uncle, cousin, colleague, and more. Gilberto was a man who took a stand for what he believed in. He was loyal, compassionate, and had a heart of gold. Gilberto marrero will be missed greatly but his presence and spirit will continue to embrace us forever.....
